"A short stream wouldn't drown them." Dinara muttered but dropped the point, they had a plan and that's all that really mattered at the point. Then she thought of something and started to condense her ice armor. Her water dragon heritage may dilute the magma's heat a bit, but it could still be trouble. "I better conserve as much chill as possible." "Gorn's your dad? No wonder that little white one had so much energy." Zephyr noted to the third hatchling who seemed a bit put off.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMfoRqbS-KoThe sky begun to darken, clouds flying over it. Phoenicia walked out of the nest, only to see every living creature trying to flee the aura of fear that rushed through the land. She felt weird. Usually she could feel the land, it's fear, pain. This time nothing. Emptiness. Void. "It has begun. They are making a move." she said silently. "Heaven's help us, they caught us unprepared. Two eams! Gorn, Ciro, Taranis, go fetch Tea and Sol, then find what the hatchlings have been looking for, that will help us solve the other problem! Rest of you form up on me! We have to hold the line before reinforcements arrive!" she yelled already from air. Eight pillars of light shot up in the centers of the major settlements, arching towards the Sisters, alerting the dragons of danger.

"Ma, what's wrong?" asked Ciro frightenedly, sensing his mother's disquietude. "Are the wizards coming?" he gulped, feeling sick.

The fire fortress rumbled, the sound so deep as to be almost felt rather than heard. Shya-tael leapt to the rocky outcrop near the entrance and roared, commanding the attention of the dragons nearest her. The silence spread like wildfire. Flakes of ash drifted through the beam of light that had cut through the sky. The rusty noise of dragon bellows rose again. With a sound like the rustle of a thousand pages of burnt parchment, the warriors of the Ashed Ones spiraled into the sky.
------
Ourias shrank beside Dinara. He wasn't ready for this, no, not again, not yet. The iron band on his finger seared his scales.
------
I've found her, Naïma thought to Chaos. If it had been any other dragon, she wouldn't have tried at this distance. But she knew he could hear her. The air dragoness sent an image of Nelana's location to her mate, and then wheeled across the darkening sky. I'm afraid there's something else I have to do.

"The wizards." Zephyr was suddenly furious again, saying the words with a snarl. "Keep your head." Dinara snapped. "You can't be jump around wasting energy again. Do as Pheonicia says and stick with us, cover each others backs. And sheild your minds, we don't want any of them taking over." Zephyr clamped down on his rage, but he still started to crackly with static. "Come on Ourias, we'll get them this time." Dinara took up her staff and started sensing for water. There was a little river east, and it will take some time to redirect it even with the staff. "Remember, cover each other." Dinara whispered, this time to the black dragon shaking beside her."
Starlight spun around at the light and knew something was up. She spun back around and launched herself into the air, flying with all due speed to the closest ice dragons within the first few miles, making sure that they were heading for the beacon as well. If not, then at least they were warned of a upcoming danger. Then she herself would soar to the beacons origin.

"On me!" shouted phoenicia as she went into a portal. It spit them out way over the wizard army. An illusion enveloped them. There was nothing but black, with a white outline of Phoenicia in front of the wizards. "Return my daughter!" the mirage yelled, while several laser beams from above annihilated few gyradas and two wizards. Phoenicia wasn't ever as furious as she was now. She teleported behind another bird and just torn it in half with very disgusting sounds as the bones of the animal cracked.

As Leaf approached his home with the dragoness Sapphire, who had saved his life. He saw in front of himself a scene of absolute horror. There were dragons fighting everywhere. He knew he could speed up to get there faster but he didn't want to leave Sapphire to be attacked on her way to the peak, then as if he had said his thoughts out loud Sapphire said," Do not worry about me lagging behind, I'm probably one of the fastest none energy dragons out there." so together they flew to the peak together.
------------------
As she and Leaf landed on the peak she looked around for someone but she couldn't see anyone so she called out "Hello is anyone here."

"Here take this." Gorn handed Taranis a map. "Don't worry i drew a line from here to the camp so you just have to follow that." Taranis stared at it for a second then folded it up. "Thanks Dad. Come on Ciro. Its time for us to roll." He left the cave and sat down to focus. In less than 30 seconds the ground started to shake. A little after that a crack started to appear then BOOM, a geyser of lava shot up. Taking control of it he made it spin faster and faster until it took on the shape of a drill. "Alright Ciro, lets get going." The lava drill shot back down in the ground and Taranis jumped in after it.

"I--" Ciro started uncertainly, unable to believe what was going on. They had literally just teleported into the middle of a wizard base; the same wizards that had started a war to enslave them all, so he'd been told. At this point he didn't even know where was safer; at the heart of the enemy territory with his family or in the woods, alone, with any number of dragon-hunters prowling around for the telltale signs of hatchlings vulnerable for the capturing. They'd already gotten Sol'Lux at her home, how could he know where was safe? Steeling himself, legs shaking, he charged into the portal after his brother, a rushed shield thrown up between them and the fighting in case the wizards already knew they were there. "Are you sure this is gonna work?" he hissed, jumping at every shout that went up from the wizard camp, as his brother carved out a path beneath the chaos with a drill made of molten lava. Whatever had possessed their parents into thinking that freeing their missing family members from the hands of violent mages was a task fit for five-year-olds, he didn't know. Silently he was sure though that this was going to be the end of them. They'd end up butchered for parts on some alchemist's table, put into little bottles labeled "dragon's blood" and "dragon eyeballs", their skeletons displayed in buildings for tiny two-legged hatchlings to gawk at while their probably sane parents didn't intentionally put them in harm's way, or send them on wild goose chases across an island, or even just let them stray too far from the cave without supervision. He edged a little closer to his brother, his eyes peeled for any sign that everything was about to go horribly, predictably wrong.
Edit:Ciro's eyes widened in amazement. Through the portal he could see the chaos of the wizard camp as Phoenicia teleported in and laid waste to their numbers, a fully-grown gyrada sundering beneath her furious claws. He tore his eyes away from the carnage to nod affirmative to his brother, throwing up a quick shield between himself and the lava as he followed him into the tunnel.

The journey wasn't as fast as teleporting, but much quicker and easier than walking or flying. Since the heat of the magma was so great it kept them flying without almost any effort. and since no obstacle could stand in their way they just went straight on. Taranis would dig up every now and then to see how far they had gotten but that didn't take much time off. After an entire day of tunneling they came out at a spot where the wizard camp was in sight. "There it is bro. The wizards main *yawn* base. Man I'm tired. Think grandma and sis will still be alive tonight? I think i need to take a break."

"No kidding." commented Ciro, flying up beside his brother. The wizard camp was on the horizon. He felt so nervous. They didn't even know what had become of Phoenicia after she had gone through the portal; for all they knew, she could have been captured by the wizards now. "I sure hope they're allright..." he said, he himself yawning. He thought about how much flying they'd been doing lately. First flying all the way to the fire clan capital, now careening deep beneath the earth through lava-filled tunnels. Was this really what mom and dad had to deal with all the time, back when the wizard war was taking place? It was an adventure, for sure, but they were now in enemy territory, miles from home, not even knowing if their family members were still alive or not. He stretched his wings and powered down his shield, exhausted. "I think we'd better call it a night. Don't know how well I'll sleep with that thing so close by." he said, watching the camp for movement. He still wasn't ready to face the danger that lay ahead of them come dawn.

Taranis searched the area to see if there was some sort of shelter they could sleep in, but whatever energy carried him all the way here was leaving quickly and his eyes were starting to close. Luckily there was a small cave nearby, he started walking towards it. "Don't worry about the others bro. Right now we just *yawn* have to....focus.....on the.....mission." Taranis collapsed about 5 feet from the cave, deep in sleep.

Ciro shook his head, creeping out of the tunnel it had taken Taranis all day to carve. He poked his head into the cave cautiously, making sure it wasn't a den for gyradas or something before returning to the exit. Momentarily he paused wondering whether it was worth waking his brother up to get him into cover, but then he got a better idea. Carefully forming a bubble shield around Taranis's sleeping form he stood up on his hind legs and unceremoniously rolled his brother the rest of the way into the cave. When they were both inside he spent a couple of minutes trying to enchant the entrance of the cave with a cloaking spell. He only managed to get it partways invisible so the entrance looked like a dark smudge on the wall of the pass. Good enough. He was far too tired to do anything else. Curling up on the dank stone floor he rested fitfully for a while, periodically checking the entrance, before finally drifting off.

Sapphire turned around to leaf. "where is everyone leaf?". "I don't know," he replied. "wait a minute if there is a battle, there is one person who i know will be in it," sapphire said, "and person is Phoenicia maybe if i could contact her somehow....." " I know i could do it but I've never done before," she exclaimed. "what, what is it?" leaf asked. "well," sapphire ventured, " i could do a a two way scrying where we can see and here each other." "well, as long as its not dangerous."leaf said reluctantly. sapphire went to the pool of water and set the enchantment in place, she could see a bloody battlefield. " hello, Phoenicia are you there?" she called.

"Busy. Follow the beam, could use some help." thought Phoenicia back to her step sister. A golden ray of light lit up from the peak, heading north. She wasn't kidding. Phoenicia was fending off several attackers at once, dodging most of the time. She was occupied with looking for either Lantea or Sol'Lux, but so far found none.
