Luna coasted on a rare bit of warm air, hard to come by in iceclan territory. when she saw a group of dragons fighting. "oh well i guess Cristal will have to wait for me,i better help with this dispute." she said to herself, hoping she wouldn't be late for her friend's birthday party. she allowed herself two care free loopy loops then landed with her silver scales catching the light throwing it back out twice as bright. "excuse me but would all be so kind as to let me know what you are doing?" she said looking at one of the dragons in the eye.

Seeing the dark dragoness distracted, Vorun saw his chance and lunged, gripping her wrist in his foreclaws and disappearing into the shadows, dragging her elbow-deep into the ice before reappearing on the other side. The she dragon cussed and lashed her tail. He quickly moved out of range before a second blow cuold finish him off and collapsed, catching his breath. "Thank you, friend." he coughed, bowing his head to the ice dragon gratefully. "These three won't be a problem until the sun goes down. Your clan can do with them as they see fit." Because I'm certainly not sticking around until then. Then, he noticed the young white dragoness coming in from the air, and was momentarily surprised, unable to detect what clan she was from. "Everything's under control!" he called, his ribs smarting from the effort. Where were all these other dragons coming from? This place was supposed to be isolated.

Thoron grew impatient as the fire dragon he had just met did nothing but stand there observing the corpses of the fallen Vok. He sat down and relaxed himself as he licked the wound in his right wing enjoying the feel as it relieved the itchiness around the opening. The wound was so itchy that he wanted to use the sharp mechanical blade on his tail to scratch the hell out of it knowing that it could be infected from the way the damaged flesh tasted. He kept licking at it until he got a whiff of another dragon nearby so he folded his wing back and began to inspect the following area around him and Tara. "I wounder what scent that could belong to...? It smells as if it's nearby somewhere, around here...!" The giant dragon thought before he stood up and began to sniff the air trying to locate the invader and caught a possible direction of where it's coming from. "Hang on for a sec Tara. I will be back in a few minutes." The dark dragon then turned to the forest from where he caught the scent at and headed that way for a short time when he heard "Hello?" from what sounded like a child speaking. Thoron stopped when he heard the small voice and crept up a little further before he halted from a ashed rock that smelt odd for reasons not sure, like as if there was more then one life hiding behind the seared stone. He sat down and began to think, "What if there is an ambush and this kid is involved?" "Ahh!" He sighed aloud. "What can two lone invaders possibly think to do to ambush me at a place like this!" He said to himself when he looked up at the stone and growled, "If your not here to fight then come out now. I mean no harm to whoever you are!" He sat up straight, head up high, casting a shadow over the precarious stone hideaway while he watched both sides of it making shure no one could escape.

Tara's attention shifted to the big dragon when she heard him say something. He ordered someone else to come out of hiding. This was her cue to disappear. Who knows if that wasn't just an elaborate ambush, in which case it was probably already too late. She ducked, unfolded her wings and then jump-took off, heading to the fortress low over the ground. All was going well, until she almost ran into a giant demon. She crash landed few feet away from him. "Son of a gun, the big one wasn't lying!"

Scourge turned his back on the dragon guard he was talking to and pulled his mace off his back-hook when he heard the sudden crash occur behind him. He stared right into the eyes of the dragon that crashed then he smiled showing his needled teeth. "You have some nerve to ambush me mortal. Now speak before I end you BOTH." He growled while holding the his mace high above his head ready to strike either dragon from in front or behind. "I am here for a SIMPLE healing scroll, now; if either of you dare run from me then I will see you as a threat to my lord's (Thoron's) existence!" The demon continued when flame engulfed the Core of Destruction's head and fire began to pour out his eye sockets. OCC: This could be ugly!

"W-wait! You can't just leave me here!" the hatchling cried, opening his wings in vain. He started to gallop after Tara, but his short legs were no match for an adult's wings, and he slowed after only a few steps, wings drooping hopelessly. "What was that for?" Metrus spat, crawling out from his hiding place, still cloaked in shadow. "You didn't have to announce I was there for the whole continent to know! Whatever you did to earn that dragon's trust is gone now, and we've both lost our chances." He jabbed a clawed hand in the direction Tara had flown.

Frost was surprised by this other dragon, after all he hardly missed things, but she seemed to be trying to stop the fight as well. "We h-h-have everything under control now. But I do need to kn-kn-kn-know who you are." He said turning his attention back to the dark dragon. "I have to t-t-tell the others who know I'm here as many details as possible." He wanted to know more about why that fight happened. Unfortunately His eyes kept drifting over the new dragon, there was something about her that drew his attention.

Thoron was surprised when the young dragon jumped out from behind the rock and ran past him yelling out to Tara to stop. He didn't realize until he heard wings flapping from behind him and when he turned he saw that the female fire dragon had vanished. "Oh crap, I knew I couldn't trust that dragoness!" He spoke worried about his current situation. The dark dragon looked at the stranger and growled in response, "What the hell are you hiding for then if you didn't want me to smell you out stranger? It doesn't matter now!" He said while standing up and looking the direction that Tara had flown. "Now she is going to alert her people of my presence and I will have to escape this paradise... Unless of course!" He looked down at the young fire dragon standing in front of him and asked, "Do you want me to carry you to her? As long as your with me then I can imagine she would have to trust me then!" He waited for the young one to answer as he stared up at the surrounding sky.

Metrus cocked his head at the strange dragon. Something about him was definitely off. "He's under my control, rockhead. He can't answer you—" "—unless I want him to," the fire dragon finished smugly. 'Although, the more I think about it, the more your plan makes sense. Here, you take him." Go with the new dragon, he thought to the little one. I'll be with you.

Thoron saw the hatchling walk to him as if he was going to accept the offer. He nodded and held out his injured wing and placed the long arm part on the ground in front of the fire dragon like a ramp to his back. "Here get on. I can't fly at the moment because of this wound but I am fast at sprinting so no problem will behold us!" Spoke the giant dragon as he looked out to the distant fortress trying to see if any dragons were heading his way. He saw nothing peculiar but a ball of flame in front of the fortress gate "There that might be Scourge! He must of ran into Tara... Oh that's not good!" He said to himself as he folded his wing to his side and began to roll his shoulders. "Lets go."
Thoron lunged forward and started with a simple run then he began to pick up speed drastically as he started to sprint with his body low to the ground. His feat were picking up lots of dirt and flinging it behind him like a dirt cloud as he ran covering plenty of ground as he neared the fortress. "There she is. Hang on young one." He warned as a large lava lake appeared before their path. He jumped high into the air and opened his huge wings into a glide while his injured wing gave way to the wind making them fall nearer and closer to the molten rock. He flapped his wings once instantly making him feel excruciating pain occur as the wound opened further but he kept himself above the lave at least. He landed on the other side of the shore seeing Scourge and Tara there with another dragon wearing fire clan armor. He skidded to a halt as he finely walked up behind the fire dragoness yelling out to the two, "Scourge don't attack even if they try to escape. Hey Tara do you know this child? I found him just after you ran off." He turned showing the left length of his body while he brought his left wing down into a ramp so the young one could climb off his back with ease. "You owe me now and you better not run from me again! Why did you run in the first place Tara I thought we could trust each other!" He panted as he could feel his right wing throbbing from being torn further.
Scourge extinguished his mace and locked it onto his back-hook when Thoron ordered him to stand down. "I told you not to come here because you could be endangering your own life!" Insisted the demon as he walked up and inspected the opening on Thoron's wing. "This thing looks disgusting I'll definitely need something to heal this now!" Thoron grunted as the demon walked up then climbed up on his back and grabbed the forearm joint of his right wing forcing it to open. He made the wing open to it's fullest and saw the damage. "You almost clipped your own wing completely!" Thoron looked at Scourge on his back and growled, "Well I had to get here so push off and besides now you don't have to come back for me." The two argued as if they completely forgot about their situation.

"Umm, the healer is this way if you would like to quit arguing about it and actually fix that..." said Tara, wondering what the heck is going on here. It wasn't every day that a demon and giant dragon appeared from out of nowhere. "and no. I stay away from children in this fortress, and i recommend you do too. Still feeling their claws on my back." she said, walking through the gates, leaving the guard to put up with the two. She was miserable this morning already. First she gets ran over, then has no success hunting.
She went back to her chamber and ate a bit of dried meat. It would have been better if they hunted in pack, but nobody ever wanted to go with her. She admitted it was her fault, but wondered why no one is going with one of the best. She was the only one alive and still fit for fight who has killed the delicious cave lion, a proof of that being it's monstrous skull hung up on her wall. Remembering the taste of that, she tossed the dried chop back to storage with disgust. Hopefully she'll be able to catch something on duty.
Going back downstairs, she visited the healer and had her wound checked. It was healing well and should be OK in few days. After that, she went to the battlemaster. "Silvermane?" she shouted, seeing the old dragon from yesterday wasn't at his desk. "Who is it? Oh, Snake..." he said, his head popping from around a bookshelf. "New maps came in?" Tara asked, already knowing her battlemaster's routines. "Indeed, seems like the dark dragons are trying to expand into Ice clan's territory. It starts just like it did here. First they ask, then they send raiding and scout parties. And before we know, the army will be here. We should warn them and possibly form an alliance. With the ice dragons on our side, we would have the dark clan in shears, but the elders don't want to hear about it." her master complained. "And we're asking the elders... why?" Tara asked. Her master came back tot he main room and sat behind the desk. "THIS is why i like you, Snake. Yes, we should act, but i cannot be tied into this. If you want, go north and see id you maybe can force the negotiations start from the other side. Look here." he invited her to the table, showing her the newest reports of the Dark clan's forces on the map. "They are almost as far east as Energy peak. We still hold all of our borders, but they are somehow getting through, either portals or tunnel. The latter might be true, seeing as they are leaving the Earth clan alone. If those two allied, we might have a problem." the battlemaster said. "So, go north, and find an ice clanner. Ask him all about how they feel about the dark dragons, and if the situation is positive, send me a message and appeal to their leaders. I'll do stuff on this end." he said, with approving look on his face, "Dismissed."

As the scarred and sandy volcanic mountain range slipped into twilight, Metrus darted from one shadow to another, avoiding the red pools of light cast by lava and sentry fires. The conflict, it seemed, had scarcely touched the homes of either clan involved, but if Metrus knew anything about war, he knew it wouldn't stay that way for long. He flattened himself against the looming bulk of a crater and prayed that the distant silhouette of a guard wouldn't see him. It was an overcast night, and he escaped notice long enough to find a better hiding spot than before. His scent would be masked by the stench of sulfur and the curve of the rock was well-hidden. It would be mere minutes before he would have to succumb to mental exhaustion and release the hatchling's mind. It wasn't enough time to accomplish what he had come for, but the journey need not be a total loss. A secondary plan was already evolving in the back of his thoughts. He wriggled deeper into the alcove, re-cast his shadow spell, and closed his eyes. The bronze hatchling, who had been sleeping fitfully between his siblings and relieved parents, opened his eyes. Formerly brown, they now glowed with a faint red cast. Quietly, with only one trip-up, he stepped over the slumbering dragons and raced off down the hall. The fortress was big Metrus growled softly in frustration. He tried to remember the ancient, musty scent of his mother, the foul smell of his cousin's wounds, and the hatchling sniffed the air. It all smelled like ash to Metrus, but the youngling picked up on something. Too late. Stop right there. The fire dragon froze, and turned haltingly to the nearby wall. Metrus reached out with his own hand, and, jerkily, the hatchling did the same. His grip was slipping. With some effort, he scratched a messy symbol into the wall, low enough to the ground to escape an adult's notice. An arrow stretched in the right direction. With his last effort, Metrus delved into the possessed dragon's mind and blurred his memories of having met the two shadow dragons in the desert, telling him repeatedly that he had dreamt it moments before. Then he was forced out. All alone in enemy territory, Metrus needed to escape while still in his element. At this point, it didn't matter if he was seen. There was someone he needed to find. He wriggled free of the stone's grasp and shot across the glassy ground. The clouds pulled free of each other, spilling meager moonlight over his scales.

Tara didn't wait. She went to her chamber and started putting her armor on. Although this was a long trip, she didn't know what or who she'll meet and after morning's events, she could believe she can meet anything. When she was done, she packed a bagful of stuff, dropped by the healer to exchange few chips of silver for some energy replenishing herbs and walked outside of the gate. she stood at one of the piers and moved the wing guards on the armor to the open position to allow her wings to unfold. She took a running jump and dove from the pier into the deep lava moat running around the fortress. The searing hot air pushed her up and she shot out, gaining altitude and heading north. While in the air, she looked down, observing the patrols. No doubt they were being reinforced. Are we really that close to war? she thought, along with In that case, i hope we first strike them.

Thoron saw the gates open in front of him while Scourge continued to talk as he paced back and forth on his spine. He heard what Tara had said and saw her signal him to the healer. He listened and headed through the gate making the demon jump off his back as he headed through the streets. As big enough as the streets were the large dragon could move easily through them and to the healer cave that could be seen five doors down. He entered into the healer's door and saw the dragon sitting there. "Hey are you the healer?" He asked cautiously as he centered himself into the large room and waited patiently. "I have a slight wing problem that I need help with!" He continued as he sat down and opened his massive wing just enough to see the giant wound.
Scourge almost fell off as Thoron began moving so he jumped off and stood there looking at the black dragon walk through the gate. He growled but said nothing and followed him through the streets with no worry of attack. "So this is the fire fortress of Jana Hot Springs! I knew it the first time I saw it!" The demon talked to himself as he followed behind Thoron.
OCC: Hey Nohiki can you talk for the healer. I would appreciate it!
