A dark shape winged over and past Metrus, and he slowed. The fire clan warrior in full armor soared overhead, her wings illuminated in the faint light. Unbidden, shadow energy slithered over his claws, and Metrus had to consciously extinguish the building blast. He had to be realistic. He couldn't waste his efforts on a half-hearted spell that would at best annoy a seasoned fighter. His mental energy was depleted, and he knew better than to pick a fight on fire dragon turf. Something about the warrior, though, struck a nerve. She was, for now, someone to blame. It was nice to have a goal of sorts to satisfy his tired logic, but Metrus also tried to remain objective. If he kept to the ground, she would soon outpace him, and he could safely take to the sky without being spotted. You need to rest, he thought blearily to himself, but he first needed to get out of enemy territory. Then, he hoped, he could find a nice empty burrow, and bury himself in a few precious hours of sleep. The sooner he reached the northern lands, the better.

Back to where the lava pool that Thoron had thrown the giant Dread'Vok in a air bubble surfaced. Fifteen minutes has passed and a torrent of air bubbles and movement began to stir at the bottom of the pool. "RAAHHHH glugluglugluglug!!!!" The cybernetic abomination exploded out of the molten rock without it's head and it began to flail across the ground. It then dragged It's body, or what was left of it, to one of the mangled remains of the other Voks and began eating it with teeth that grew out of the neck in a round circular formation. The monstrosity stood up grabbing the half eaten corpses' head and placed it where it's original head was making the three eyes open. "I STILL LIVE Son of Armageddon and I shall be the one to devour your heart!" The thirty foot tall creature with a ugly head grabbed the huge axe off the ground and ran a completely different direction towards the mountains thinking that Thoron was there. Within the few minutes of it running that direction it has killed and consumed multiple animals that replenished it's biological structure also destroying everything that stood before it's path. www.dmchristopher.com/reviews/KOBOLD%20RPGs/Images%20-%20RPGs/FS%20Abomination.jpgOCC: Alright Nohiki It's up to you if you want to avoid this thing or not just be aware that It's far more dangerous then any enemy that Tara has fought!

It was getting light, the gold of sunrise brushing the distant mountaintops. Metrus squinted his eyes against the dawn, his slit pupils already scarcely visible lines. The dragoness had long ago left him behind, fortunately, or he'd be a sitting—or, rather, flying—duck if she managed to spot him in the daylight. He dipped his wings and swooped low over the verdant forest that had gradually emerged from the volcanic landscape. Why were the fire dragons so attached to their barren lands, anyway? All this lay right over their borders. Granted, he thought as he banked away from the rooftops of a human village, it sort of belonged to someone else already, but it wasn't something a full clan of dragons couldn't handle. The clearing of a pasture opened below him and Metrus landed just among the trees at the far end, folding his wings neatly across his back. He would find something to eat, and then sleep until the stars reappeared. When looking for someone specific in the middle of a frozen wasteland, he'd need more delicate navigation than the obnoxious sun could offer. He found a meal and a dry riverbed to sleep in, curled up, and drifted off.
(OOC: Sorry, sorry, I'll skip ahead a bit more next time.)

"This is pretty messed up." Drahon said, examining the wing, "It's gonna cost you some. You might notice i am not from around here, i'm a hand for hire. Accepting metals, jewels, gems, ..." He said, further looking at the wound. "Why on Essence did you try to fly with that? I can either fix you in a week expensive or in a month cheap. Which one is it gonna be?"

"I'm s-s-sorry but do i know you?" Frost asked the random white dragon. "Look you don't seem from ar-r-round here and I have things under c-c-c-control. So could you please go else where?" He turned his attention back to the dark dragon. "W-w-w-w-where were we? Right, I first need to know basic information. W-what is your name and where did you come from? And I want a spec-c-cific location." Frost was staring Vorun dead in the eyes making sure he wasn't planning on running.

Vorun ducked his head and averted his eyes from the ice dragon's cold gaze. He wasn't in any position to protest. He doubted if he even had the energy to make another jump to the shadow plane, now. "Vorun." he said, emotionlessly. "I come from the catacombs. I am expected to return soon. I was sent here to monitor these three troublemakers." he said--which was not strictly lying-- motioning to the subdued dark dragons. The thin one was still lashing her tail angrily, while the other two could only look away sheepishly. "I knew he wasn't no messenger." the little one muttered, propping his head on his free hand. "You're a bloody bad liar, no-wings." spat the female treacherously, "He meant did you come from the trenches, which you did. You know that's what he meant, don't act like you're lily-white, you slick-bellied toad!" Her tail lashed against the ground, sending shards of ice flying. Vorun dragged one crescent-clawed hand over his face in beleaguered chagrin, exhaling wearily. "Yes, thank you for that input, Siravi." he said in utter apathy. He ought to have expected they'd call him out, if not out of spite then out of sheer stupidity. He could only hope the ice dragon disregarded the word trenches as possible dark-clan slang for lower class habitations, he wasn't given away just yet. He had it on good authority that the ice clan were none too happy about the dark clan reappropriating their territory, even if it happened to be abandoned. And there weren't just dark clans making their dens in the forsaken reaches of the Irihels, it was a favorite haunt of all manner of exhiles and renegades, unknown and hidden as it was.

Frost knew Vorun was lying when he looked away from him, if her were telling the truth he could have just looked straight at him. "Trenches....I don't t-t-t-think I've heard of that dark clan area. Ah well thats n-n-n-not the important part. What i want to know is what you guys are d-d-d-d-doing out in Ice Territory after you were specifically told to leave? Or did you not relay that message from your c-c-c-c-commanders?" Frost had wanted to help Vorun, but if he was going to lie to him, then there wasn't much he could do for him.

The dark dragons looked askance at eachother. Sure, the ice dragons had issued warnings before, but this latest interdiction was news to them. "I hadn't heard of the latest prohibition, no." said Vorun apologetically. He had to admire this ice dragon's nerve, despite the constant stutter; he was slightly younger and a fair bit smaller than Vorun, and yet he had the gall to face down four adult dark dragons who might have turned on him at any moment. "We-- ah-- we made a bet. To see who could get here the fastest. As you probably saw, my 'friends' happened to be sore losers." he said acidly. It was probably the stupidest reason to be caught on ice clan territory, and he needed someone to share the blame. He just hoped the other three took the hint and shut up, they'd only dig themselves deeper if they opened their mouths.

A bet. These three could have made the Ice clan think them as dark clan soldiers deliberately setting up a camp and consider it an act of war and force them on the Fire side, all because of a bet. "Wow....You're all idiots." He was about to tell them to just get out of his face when, "Well what do ya know, looks like Frosty was right." The leader of his hunting pack came up behind him, and so did the rest of them. "Bliz, w-w-w-what are you-" "We got back to camp and noticed you hadn't come back yet, meaning you had stayed because you actually found something. So we came looking for ya and here we are, so what are these dark clan jerks up to?" Bliz wasn't sure what to make of the dark dragons that appeared to be inside the ice. "L-l-long story. Everything is cleared up now so we can all just-" "Just nothing, they're coming with us. The Elders will want them to explain THEMSELVES what they're doing here. Even you pretty lady. Now the question is, how do we get these guys out?" He said referring to the 3 dark dragons. Frost just face palmed and shook his head. "Sorry Vorun, not much I c-c-c-can do. Gotta come with us."

Vorun raised a scaly eyebrow and straightened despite the pain in his ribs. It wasn't as if they'd just marched straight into the middle of the ice clan capital, this place was abandoned as far as he knew. The fact that they'd gotten caught was just bad luck. "You're ice dragons, aren't you? Just move the ice." he said, doing everything he could to keep the ire from his voice. So this was what he was going to be stuck with. Oh well, a few hours of recovery and he should be able to slip away that same evening... Though finding a healer might take a while. If the ice dragons proved hospitable he might just stick around, he decided. He'd done enough running for one week. He stood and readied to follow the ice dragons, unconcerned.

Thoron looked at the earth dragon confused then said with a deep growl, "I... don't have any money on me but my companion might...!" When Thoron was about to turn to the door, Scourge just walked in while staring at the earth dragon when he mentioned something about money. "We have nothing to contribute your expenses just my mad wrath!" He intimidated the dragon as he walked up and stopped in front of his desk throwing out a few shards of demonic metal on the counter. "Is this good enough!" He growled with his demonic voice as it sounded a little hostile. Thoron just sat there watching the two.

Drahon backed away when he saw a horrible disgusting... thing. And it was making threats! "F-f-f-fine, i suppose i might do one job for free?" he said and walked over to Thoron, examining the wing. "I do not like threats. I'm leaving, and you can be sure the people upstairs will NOT be happy about that. I suggest you are outta here before i am, or that wing is going to be the least of your worries." the Earth dragon whispered to the giant's ear. He put the wing into correct position and used a thick wire to fix bones in a single position, then sew the wing carefully to heal with the least amount of scars. finally he put a balm on it and taped a band aid over the stitches. "Done. Now beat it." he growled.

Thoron let the dragon heal him but he was angry with Scourge's hostility towards the healer. He tried to apologize for this act, "Forgive me about this I didn't mean any harm toward you or anybody! My friend here is a demon and he doesn't know crap when it comes to those who live a normal life!" When the healer warned him while he was working on his wing, Thoron felt nervous about this situation. The black dragon was uncomfortable about this happening so he looked at Scourge and growled while showing his long black fangs at him, "You give him your dagger for this criminal act, Now?" Scourge backed away when he saw Thoron turn on him then he responded normally, "Why yes of course I didn't mean to anger you in such ways!" Scourge kept his eyes on his god child as he walked up to the earth dragon unsheathing his dagger and handed the demonic weapon to him. Thoron still felt unsure about this so he looked back to the healer calmly and tried to barter his way out, "Forgive us from disturbing your evening. We fought a very dangerous foe that caused this misunderstanding before we got here so were a bit on edge!" Thoron bowed his head while folding his fixed wing to his side then headed for the door.

"I wouldn't-" Shouted Drahon, seeing Thoron folding the wing, "-do that... You should keep it on air, take the bandaid off in two days, no later. The less you move it, the longer the fix holds. If you try to even glide, not to mention fly, it'll rip again, the stitches are only strong enough to hold body skin, not a wing." the druid advised, looking at the offered dagger. "That is of no value to me, buuuut, if you travel a lot... You see one of these, you let me know. Or, if you get it to me directly, i'll give you your weight in gold." he said, holding a strange black sphere.

Thoron cringed from a stinging sensation when he tried to fold his mended wing making him open it halfway so the wound was suspended in midair. He also heard the healer call out to him not to fold the wing but he was too slow to react. The earth dragon also mentioned something about a bounty for a sphere, like the one he was holding, for a good sum of gold so that caught his attention. Thoron turned back around to get a good look at the sphere and sat down looking closely at the object. "What is this thing and where did you find it? What ever it is it feels as if it holds a great deal of magical energy!" Thoron looked down at his right hand and lifted it off the brick and opened it near the orb where his palm was a foot from the sphere. Suddenly a black tail grew out his shoulder wrapping around his arm and a flaming twelve pointed star appeared in the palm of his hand when the tail stabbed through the center of the glyph and his hand. "It holds no resemblance to me or my purpose so-" His arm returned to normal and he placed it back on the ground to support himself. "-If I happen to see any more of these then I'll shall return it to you and thanks for the healing! I'll be outside next to the far wall if you know of any locations I can find those orbs?" He looked back to the door and walked through holding his wing out in front so he can see if he bumping into anything. The large dragon walked out, with his right wing open to heal, into the street and to the side near the wall where he waited for something to fill his thoughts. Scourge walked up to the dragon sheathing his dagger and stopped in front of him looking up at him saying, "What was that about?" Thoron looked down at the demon and responded calmly, "You need to not be so hostile to those who are asking a simple question to me especially when it's part of their business! Your just lucky that he let us walk out of there for free! Anyways if we start traveling out and we happen to see any of those orbs then we should return them to him!" Scourge nodded and walked up to the same wall then leaned his back up against it as he resided next to black dragon.
