"That's what I was saying! Hold on a sec." Zephyr tore off the globe and gently tossed it into the grass so he could jump into the water.
Isis was shaken out of his comtemplation at the disturbance in the energy feilds. Slowly fading back into the foreground, he searched for what could be making it; it was dark. He was trying to get Zephyr's attention when he was scooped up. "Hah, i thought there was something pecular with this. What are you doing?" "Frostal!" Isis swore.
Dinara felt the weird icy presence again. Turning from the water dragons she followed the magic signature and grabbed Zephyr's Ice globe. "Hah, i thought there was something pecular with this." she metnally exlaimed, then said to the presense seriously, with a touch of menace, "What are you doing?" Nothing good came from weird spiritual entities, just look at Corvus and Isky. "Frostal." It swore. After a second it spoke again, "Nothing nefarious. My presense is nothing for you to concern yourself over, Irna." "It's Dinara, and I'll be the judge of that." Meanwhile Zephyr had come back out of the water, cleaner for it but still covered in faint smears. It seams they were low on his priority list though, "Hey! Give him back." "He knows." "Of course."
(ooc: so much for no big stories :/ )

Pandora got off of Ourias and hid down beside him to look at the two demons. "I have no idea who the fifteen foot tall one is, but I do remember the larger one." She responded then nudged Ourias, "Your Ourias right, sorry for accusing you of that little dispute but we should leave or get destroyed by these two. They don't look like they are here for a reunion." The dragoness stood but remained low to the ground trying to sneak away until a slithering sound could be heard in the close by trees. Oh no! Those wyrm like things are in the shadows of the trees and bushes. She thought then turned back to beside Ourias in a whisper, "We can't go near the trees or something in there will get us. Crap this sucks!" She sighed then watched her surroundings thinking if she and the dark one could sneak by the two, about to clash, demons. The dragoness soon found that even this idea sounded crazy because that knight was eyeballing her, not even worried about Scourge the demon he was clashed with. If they both got close to the demons' presences then that could result into like walking across an active and ready to blow caldera.

"What's going on over here?" Shya asked, stepping towards Zephyr and Dinara with her wings half-spread at her sides. "Is there a problem?"
------
Metrus banked and wove sharply, pumping his wings at every gap in the trees. There was a scent of power in the air, but it was hostile, alien. The forest ahead lightened, and the black dragon curved his flight and skirted the clearing's edge. Metrus flitted above the earth dragon from before, too fast for either to react, and folded his wings, dropping neatly into the underbrush not far from Ourias and Pandora. He slunk forward on his stomach, eyes mostly on the pair of demons in the nearby field. "You two," he hissed once close enough, "just can't stay out of trouble, can you?" "Father!" Ourias' face lit up. "You're the something in the bushes?" Metrus reached over and grabbed one of the horns on the side of Ourias' head, dragging the smaller dragon out of the grass patch despite his protests. "You need to stop running off on your own." "Ow ow—but you—ow—told me to look for the gyrada!" "Not if your mother asks what happened, I didn't." Metrus released Ourias and plucked a blade of grass from between his son's scales. He swiveled his head. "Coming, Miss Vale'siege?"

Pandora heard the dark dragon vanish into the trees yelling "Father" on the other side of the under brush. Pandora spun around to call out to Ourias but noticed it to be too late to attempt a word out. "He fell for the shadows! damn you Void and your tricks." she complained witnessing Scourge take a step forward and shove the demon knight's sword off his mace. "You are dead Cataclysm and you should be dust after our last battle a 1,000 millennia ago... unless," Scourge brought his mace up and rested it on his right shoulder with his arm outstretched down the shaft, his hand dangling freely off the side near the pummel, " you became Void's attack dog!?" The demon knight recovered after being pushed back fifty feet leaving a trench of fresh earth in front of him. The berserker raised his sword then charged lifting his huge blade over his head, dropping it down on top of Scourge. The demonic king took a step back retrieving the Core of Destruction off his shoulder and swatting the incoming sword out of the air. "That move is too slow...!" blurted Scourge when he was interrupted by the fast turnaround of the knight with another chop from his sword. He grunted surprised after watching the demon spin around with another incoming attack. The Dramorox lunged forward shoulder bashing the giant being in the stomach canceling his tricky attack, pushing him back to the center of the field where they engaged in true combat. Pandora gasped then with haste ran after Ourias to get away from the rain of magma coming down on her. While entering through the first layer of brush, she sighting Metrus under the shadow filled rain forest. "It was you that lurked in the forest," cried the dragoness happily and ran beside her healer's side seeking refuge. "We need to get out of here now before we are caught in the blaze of those two heathens Metrus!" She included while watching the shadows around her for any glowing white eyes.
The demons started with basic slow clashes then turned to fast paced blows that started to burn the ground beneath them into gravel. Scourge was flung back when the knight thrusted his beveled axe shaped head of his weapon into the his chest making him land in the place where the small dragoness once was. "You've gotten fast brother," the demon rolled over and stood up watching as Cataclysm made his way to Scourge, "but you will not prevail over me!" He yelled as he jumped up from the ground and full fledged punched the knight in the face. The knight's faceplate of his helmet was smashed completely in reveling his glowing orange eyes staring at his opponent. The warrior pulled off his helmet and dropped it to the ground growling out words of challenge. "I will seek my revenge on you by humiliating you in front of these mortals!" gargled the demon knight toward the demon god. "Oh?" signaled Scourge with an irritated expression. "We can settle this out in that arena over there if you wish?" concurred the fifteen foot tall demon while pointing to the ancient tree in the not far distance. "There is an arena over there that the dragons wont mind us using," Scourge glared at him with furry, "but only one will walk out alive." he growled dropping his mace on his back hooks. "Agreed." Responded the other as Scourge and Cataclysm a hundred feet apart from one another made their way to the ancient tree to settle this once and for all.
Pandora heard the clashing stop and a conversation take place between the two demons. She couldn't believe it as the flaming bodies walked to the ancient tree for a "Fight to the death" arena battle. For a brief second she could hear Void raging in the shadows when the two walked off.

Before Dinara could say anything Zephyr rounded towards Shya and quickly yelped, "Nothing!" Grinding his teeth he added, trying to sound more relaxed, "Dinara's just, checking out my ice globe i -traded. I thought it looked cool." Dinara gave the energy dragon a sour look. "To tell, or not to tell..." "Not. It's unessesary." Dinara rolled the globe across her fingers in thought, then tossed it back to Zephyr. "An interesting trinket with a story." She commented, "I'm sure it will be one to come to light soon enough." "Someday." Isis agreed solomly to Dinara, while Zephyr nodded vigourously. (ooc: Shya can push the matter if she wants. )

"Alright." Taranis agreed. He had worked his tail off to win the arena, but he feared losing control again. Besides, he was too distracted now to even focus. Either way he would never win at this point, so he might as well call it. He hopped out of the water and headed off to the arena.
------------------------------
Frost looked back at Ciro and smiled. "Isn't that how y-y-your uncle started off? Facing off against an un-n-nknown disease that threatened the ones he loved? Now I'm not saying you should head off on a huge quest to save the world, b-b-but sitting here crying is a guarantee your situation stays the same." Frost turned back to head out once more. "You especially are gonna have many p-p-p-problems in your life, kid. You can either r-r-run and hide hoping they go away, or you can start working on a way to face them and show em who's boss."
------------------------------
Taranis made his way to the arena, slowly reaching the roster. His name was in the semi finals, so close. "You're not going to sign off now are you?" A mysterious blue dragoness walked up to Taranis. "Yeah, so what if I am?" The dragoness sighed. "If you're worried about that little incident you had, don't. Your powers only activate when angered to a great degree, usually something personal. And I doubt any of the other contestants will do that." Taranis' eyes widened, "Wait, do you know what that was?" She smiled, "Of course. But first come with me, we need to talk in a more private area." Taranis didn't know who this lady was yet, but she seemed to know more than anyone else right now. He nodded and followed her off. They reached a clearing that seemed to be free of all other dragons. "So are you gonna tell me what happened?" He asked angrily tired of waiting. The dragoness took in a deep breath. "It was a combination of two rare gifts. One you know of as God Mode, a benefit of being the decedent of a god. However your father is only a demi god, so its unlikely any of your other siblings have it, and you still only have about 1/4th the power, but it's still a tremendous energy boost that rivals even the strongest opponents." Taranis was surprised, how did he nor anyone else know he had this. "And whats the second one?" Her smiled turned into a full on grin. "A rare telekinetic power that allows you to manipulate the planet in ways unthinkable. Its never had a real name, but Iv taken to calling it Sun/Moon. Your father also had this, but he never could grasp it on his own. He at most was only able to alter the atmosphere to change the weather. Not bad, but most dragons could do that based on element. You on the other hand, well, you saw how you manipulated the gravity so that Jet kept coming right back, not to mention you changed the arena to be fireplace. Normally doing that would have required complete and absolute focus, and the energy usage might have killed you. But those two powers combined allowed you to not only have full control and sustain it." As if the god mode wasn't enough, Taranis was now completely blow away by this. "Whoa, hold on. Now the god mode i can see, my parents told me about grandpa Zarin. But sun/moon? That doesn't even sound real! Heck not even my siblings have talked about it and they're all about the rare and lost cultures." "Thats because none of them know about. Iv wanted to teach your father, but I was never able to. And even if I wanted to he still hates me for leaving him. Frankly, i don't blame him." Taranis was beyond confused now. "Who are you?" She looked at him with a smirk, "My name is Evera, I'm your Grandmother."

Lantea nodded and zoomed in on the ice tunnel that was slowly starting to melt in the water. She jumped in and slid down, coming to a stop in front of Ciro and some older ice dragon. "Uh, hello." she said, looking at her brother: "I'm off to be with mom. Big bro is coming too or so it seemed. You joining us?" She offered, but knew with borderline certainty what the answer would be.

Bitterness and confusion buzzed in Ciro's brain at the ice dragon's words. It seemed like everyone had a piece of advice to give him, but the veteran's admonitions rang truer to him than most. "You especially are gonna have many problems in your life, kid." Why did he want to believe him? Ciro's reverie was broken as Lantea took Frost's place in the tunnel. He moved to wipe his eyes at the sight of his sister, but hastily stopped himself when he remembered she would be able to see the motion, but not his tears. "I guess it's time to go back to the cave, then." he said hoarsely, unhappy about the fact that their holiday would be cut short. Despite himself, he'd been enjoying the spirit and novelty of the games. That is, until his mother took a header off a tree and he got hit in the head with a paint ball. "Do you think we'll be coming back next year?" he asked, moving to follow her out of the tunnel.

"Sure. I believe Ma and grandma just bolted out of fear that panic would spread. In a week it's all gonna be OK." Lantea said reassuringly. "and stay if you're having a good time. Though, pardon me, I got a whole other impression." she continued, clawing her way up the icy tunnel. "I guess we could try and find dad, though I should be careful what I wish for. I bet he's cursing himself now for telling me all those grandpa stories." She smiled innocently, but there was this spark in her eyes that spoke of unimaginable evil.

"Wait. Wait wait wait wait. You're dad's mom? Why have we never seen you?" Taranis had always known his family to be tight, leaving someone completely out of the loop didn't seem like something they would do. Evera shook her head, "Oh its a long and complex story. I have a troubled past that your father only knows a segment of. But thats for another time. Right now you need to go see your mother back at your cave." Taranis had more questions, but she was right. "Before I go, Will you train me to use my powers one day?" Evera nodded, "Of course. Wouldn't want to going crazy again now would we?" That reminded Taranis. "Shoot! I forgot to sign of the roster!" Evera laughed, "Oh, did i forget to mention that before you came over all your opponents forfeited? Seems after the number you did on Jet they were all too afraid to face you." Taranis was stunned, "Does that mean? I won!" Evera nodded, "You are the champion of the youngling division." Taranis started cheering and jumping for joy as he headed home.
----------------
"Thats one way of putting it." Gorn said behind Lantea. "You're lucky I was able to avoid Shya long enough for her to return to her senses. I will admit though, that was very well played."

Thoron just heard that Taranis won the arena before he could teach any moves to him, so he went to go seek him out. He had a low grade surveillance spell casted on the pillar he parched upon witnessing the intense finisher that Taranis performed on the wind dragon. This made him do his math and soon learned that Taranis can probably perform some of his powerful moves, if he understands them that is. Thoron began to move and search for Gorn's son and soon he found him. "Hey Taranis? I've just heard that you won all your opponents by fear with that berserk move yours! Sorry that I wasn't able to teach you some fire dragon magic perks in the process of your early victory." The giant called out as he walked up and stopped in front of the two dragons noticing the stranger. "I don't believe I've seen you before." he asked Evera.

"Okayyy . . . " Shya said doubtfully, her eyes flicking from Zephyr to Dinara and back again. "If you say so." The energy dragon's reaction had been strange, granted, but if he wasn't going to make an issue of it, then it was no concern of hers. That didn't mean she couldn't be curious. "A story, huh?"

"Ahh-yup. Nothing really that interesting. I -traded- him right after Energy Peaks gydra attack." Zephyr bluffed off the top of his head, though trying to stick to the truth. He tapped the globe as he continued. "See, nothing that interesting." Dinara gave him a look that was obvious he had done a poor job. Isis sighed at Zephyr's attempt. "Might as well get the fish out of the ice." He said to Zephyr, taking a mental step. fog misted around the globe and frost formed around in a small circle. The frost was kicked up by an invisable breeze and formed a tiny dragon of crystals the size of a flit. "I thought it would bode ill to come to this event, but no, Zephyr was oh so persistant. I really hope this doesn't get out of hand." He said.

"Woah!" Shya crouched to get a closer look at the miniature ice dragon, holding her breath for fear it would melt."You're like one of Starlight's ice targets. Only you talk." She drew her head back and peered at the trio. "If that means it's story time now, then you have my word I'll do my bit to keep things under control. Though, no offense intended, little one, I don't think you'll be getting out of anyone's hands anytime soon."

"I'm only this small because that's how big i want to be." Isis explained, a bit annoyed at being thought of as a toy, "It would be very untactful if i were to blow this out in the open with my original size or even bigger if the conditions were right." Zephyr sat down with a huff, a bit disapointed that his cover hadn't held up. Isis glanced at him but continued, pausing every once in a while to think about how he would say something, "I'll say this bluntly. I was under the- that witches control for a very long time.... Last time, she didn't put the controls in place right and i finally got back at her... for everything... Zephyr found me in the river that he says this Dinara made. At first i stayed quiet but eventually opted to help him out a bit. He seamed to need it anyway." "I was doing ok." Zephyr objected. "There's more to living then fighting." Isis countered. After a second Dinara commented, "You seam to have skipped past your existence. Everything starts somewhere." Isis turned to look at her, weighing his thoughts but not saying anything, so Dinara prompted, "Who. Are. You." Isis straitened and said in a strong voice. "I am Isis of the Frozen Plains, and i was a dragon."
