That was dangerously close to be out of hand! Pandora thought before she spun around to apologize to Metrus, "I'm sorry Metrus, please forgive me," she walked up and bowed her head at him, "I didn't mean to endanger your son to carelessly!" She pleaded overzealously to the dark dragon.

"It seems you attract troubles like a carcass does flies, Miss Vale'siege. Don't let it happen again." Metrus always did enjoy accepting apologies. They meant someone else was to blame. "I'm okay, Pandora," Ourias piped in. "We would have been fine. And it wasn't your fault anyways." "We'll be going back to the tree now," Metrus said, spreading his wings. "I think there's still an earth dragon on your case about that spear, so you might want to hurry, too."
------
A chill shot down Shya's spine at Isis' words. "What witch? What happened to you? Because, clearly, you're not exactly a dragon anymore."

The dragoness sighed then turned to the earth dragon she sensed in the shadows. "Alright Metrus thanks for your help and I'm glad you're okay too Ourias." She responded then made her way to the earth dragon seeking her. "You are seeking me so what I've heard." She called before she stopped in front of the bushes Oltyth lingered behind dared not to near the shadows.

"I learned from the best, as I always do." Lantea grinned. "Now where... Ah, there he goes." She said noticing Taranis heading for them. "Shall we?" She said, blue sparkles already forming all around her.

"Um, yeah. Who do you think's going to clean up this mess?" Oltyth thrust a forepaw in the direction of the ruined clearing. "That stuff takes years to grow back on its own!"

Isis didn't answer for a while, still as a sculpture. He made the motion of taking a breath, "It was right near the tail end of the war. Me and my mate, felt it our duty to find...." He struggled to remember, "...someone, others..." He gave up and continued, "After a while we came across something to the far north past the ocean. It was the witch. She found us intreguing and long story short, she did many horrific things. I think it's for the best that i can't remember most of them. As for what I am, well, that is something to be debated on. I could be an echo, or a spirit or for Glacials sake a diety. But for now all that matters is that 'I am who I am and that's who I am'." Isis finished with a note of finality in his voice, standing up again. "Now, I think that's enough information for now, and if I didn't missunderstand the situation earlier I believe you have more important things then worrying about the philosophy of my existance." With that little frost figure crumbled as Isis stepped back into the globe. "Huh." Zephyr finally spoke up, "I was never able to get that much out of him." He said with a bit of amazement.

Pandora tilted her head at Oltyth then turned to look over her shoulder at the destruction in the clearing. With a shrug, she turned back to the earth dragon and said, "So! Doesn't look like my problem; besides it was those two demons that caused this chaos not me," she looked up as if she was searching for something then blushed when she looked at Oltyth again, "well the larger demon did come to kill me, so at least you don't have to make a burial now because of Scourge stopping him." She said while questioning the smaller demon's name making sure she pronounced it right.

Dinara was thinking back to the battle of Energy Peak, and when she really thought of it she thought she remembered seeing a large cloud form up high above then disapear just as quickly, and hadn't the witch gone up there? And I guess that explained why she hadn't come back. "Guess we were more patient then you. Well, Shya, what do you think of this?"

"I think it's unsettling. He was a dragon, with a life and a mate, and now he's trapped in a trinket for the rest of his existence because some human decided he should be that way. It's not fair."
------
"That would be what I was talking about," Oltyth said, less-than-patiently. "Why did I find your spear in the tree earlier?" He stared into her eyes for a moment, then gave a sigh, realizing that he didn't actually have a good reason to single her out by any leap of logic. "Fine, go! Have fun or whatever. You rationals are no fun, anyway." He gave a forlorn look at the smouldering field. "I'll fix that tomorrow."

Dinara thought about that for a second. "Ya, but she got what was coming to her." she huffed, then continued, "And yet, I don't think he got his closure. Either way, in the present he's stuck like that, we can't change the past and he'll just have to live with it for now. Zephyr, you keep a close hand on him. He was right how we have other things to concern outselves with but that doesn't mean we ignore him." Zephyr scowled at her orders. "You know, we were getting along just fine before he started going haywire." Scooping the globe up he placed it around his neck again and waltzed off.
(ooc: bleh, didn't handle that very well :/ )

As soon as they assembled, a loud pop echoed through the area where four dragons used to stand, now replaced by rapidly dispersing blue mist. They appeared again in the Refuge, the familiar trickle of water a music for her ears....
"GET OFF OF ME!" Phoenicia's voice roared from below the group who teleported right at her. The massive white dragoness shook them all off, sending them flying around as she got on her feet. "Nice of you to visit but your aim SUX!" She teased Tea. The blue dragoness shrugged: "You know the spell aims by thought. And it's hard to aim anywhere else if all you care about is if your mom is safe." she said and hopped closer: "Is she?" Phoenicia smiled and nodded. "I told you I was. And what's even better, It looks like I didn't infect Grandma. She's out casting away like crazy and so far no seizure." Lantea grinned: "I know, he wouldn't believe it." She pointed to Ciro. Phoenicia snickered and walked closer, picking the white whelp up and settng him on her back. "I'll be OK, don't worry."

Throughout the rest of the day, the festival wound to a close, though stories and the voices of dragons could be heard in the forest late into the night. When the rays of the morning sun stretched through leafy branches, the Ancient Tree stood alone, great limbs again empty of its annual guests.

Thoron shrugged and so did Scourge while walking up behind him. "So what's the plan? Wanna go achieve your next hopeless victim of a judged god?" followed by an evil recognizable laugh of Scourge. Thoron looked over his shoulder at the demon and kind of growled at him with a sigh, "Ah why not! At least I know that I found the coordinates for this world again!" And with little hesitation he walked up to an opening in front of the ancient tree and stood up while his right arm became the massive fabled black gauntlet while one of the three black tails lashed open a portal to an exploding planet infested by machines and death. He turned and looked to the dragons caught by his created colossal distraction and waved farewell as he slowly backed into the portal on his hind legs with Scourge following ahead already wielding his mace for combat. They vanished with a black pulse emitting through the air leaving a huge thirty foot wide onyx crater carved in the Gauntlet's runes in the earth where the giant dragon once stood.

Gorn was beyond relieved to hear the news, "Whew, thats great news, dear. But if you need anything, just let me know." (Failing at RPing as Gorn here, i need more practice.) "MOM!" Taranis instantly began hugging his mom, he was in the cheeriest mood now. Not only had he won the tournament and had discovered his new powers, but his mom was going to be okay after all! "I WON! Can you believe it? I won the youngling division!"

Evera was waiting in a small clearing near the ancient tree. The games had closed almost an hour ago yet her colleague was still late. Finally he flew in next to her with globs of paint over him. "Shall I assume your being late has something to do with your rather colorful appearance?" She asked the now embarrassed dragon. "S-s-sorry, seems a group or artists saw y-y-your son and others playing with paint and decided to get e-everyone involved." Frost responded. Evera shook her head, "Some dragons. But lets get to business, did you manage to talk to Ciro?" Frost nodded, "I may have gotten him to man up a l-little, but as far as gaining his trust its going to take some more time." He gave an uneasy sigh, "Why ar-r-re we doing this again anyway?" Evera glared at him, "You know as well as I do that the only way we can win this war is if Gorn is on our side. And since he wont listen to me, you have to convince him." "Yes, but why get the k-k-kids involved?" "We need all the help we can get, Frost. Do you think The Blaze Order will leave them alone as well? They're going to be in danger so we might as well get them on our side as well." "But why not L-L-Lantea? She seems to be the dominant and more s-s-skilled of the three?" "I couldn't agree more, but I fear there is something else happening, and with poor Phoenicia sick and her mothers age catching up, Lantea may be of better use else where." Frost had to agree, as threatening as The Order was, Dragon Essence was running out of guardians. "W-well then. Looks like we have some work to do."
