"In that case." Targus got into an aggressive stance and with one quick move.....He bolted away from Jack towards the archers.

Sid tripped but was caught by Targus as he fell. "Hey what's going on?" Sid asked watching the dragon in case she tried to trip them. "They're trying to distract us, so if we take out their group then they will have failed. If they fail they will get mad and if they get mad they will be much more fun to fight. See where I'm going with this?" Targus explained. "Yes." Sid sighed. "And i don't like it."

[Kauria]

Maela shrugged, eyes darting under half-lidded eyes. "Most likely. But if it's a one-on-one fight you want, I'm afraid you're going to have to get in line." She leaned forward in her saddle, chin resting on her hand.
Athvesa rumbled and extinguished what remained of the circle of flames, starting to prowl along the scorched perimeter as if to leave.

"I said we're fighting, and i mean NOW. DANCE FOR ME!" she said and punched the ground. It cracked right below athvesa and lava started pouring out of it. "Big talk, how about you back it up?"

[Kauria]

Athvesa roared and leapt into flight, firing down at the fissure with a freezing blast of air. "If you insist." He landed heavily before Ignis, his large body forming a nearly-continuous ring around her.
Maela leapt from the saddle and slid down the strap that secured it, stopping halfway down Athvesa's side. "Do these tantrums happen often?"

"Impressive. I might just have to start trying." grinned Ignis and readied her claws. She leapt towards Maela, aiming for her chest. "Dodge this!"

[Morty]

"Oh, for the love of..." Jack facepalmed and bolted after him.

Lulu hunkered down and placed herself between Sid, Targus and the archers. Jack skidded to a halt by her side and leapt into the saddle. "If you think you're going to get past us, you've got another thing coming!" he said, a wineskin in each hand. He flipped the corks of the wineskins simultaneously and set off, running a semicircle around the group, black sand streaming behind him. Lulu cracked her neck, completing the circle with a wall of rock between them and the rest of the fighting. She planted her feet firmly in the ground, grunting from the exertion. Jack ditched the wineskins and hopped onto Lulu's head, arms folded. A tongue of flame whipped from Lulu's mouth and lit the sand, raising a wall of fire to match the wall of rock.
"So there." he said astutely.
"Well?" said Lulu, snorting, blowing smoke in the rebels's faces.

Maela hooked her foot in the strap and extended both arms, runes on her gloves flaring. Twin jets of freezing water materialized, razor-thin shards of ice concealed within them, and lanced towards Ignis. She seized her halberd and flattened herself against her mount just as his armored tail sliced through the air.

"Are you seriously trying to confront me with that pea shooter?" She said, putting up her fire shield, melting the attack. "Pathetic!" she said and accelerated, lunging at Maela's chest, when the demoness ducked. Red alert! she thought and quickly looked around, only to be sent pummeling into the ground a second later. She stood up, shaking the mus and dust off. Her shoulder hurt a bit, but her armor protected her pretty well. For now. "It would seem you lost something." she said, holding an armor plate and a chung of the dragon's flesh in her hand. "You know this metal is pretty amazing." she said, looking at her claws with love. "Now where were we?" she said and sent a fireball after the two.

Maela swung herself into the saddle again and Athvesa wheeled swiftly, leaping over the incoming fireball and their opponent. He landed, skidded, and opened his jaws, releasing a cone of ice.
Maela ran up the back of his neck, using his spines and armor as footholds, and sprang off of his head, her halberd swung high for a killing blow.

Ignis jumped up to counter Maela, evading the ice. She clapped her hands and held off the blade. "You know, you really ain't all that you led me to believe. So far your dragon at least hit me, unlike you..." she taunted the demon. she bent her fingers, piercing holes into the halberd and swinging it along with her and releasing it in attempt to throw her a bit away and separate her from her dragon.

Maela released her hold on the haft and dropped to the ground, crossing her arms and drawing her daggers with a snick. "You talk a lot." She slid forward, trained eyes finding every gap and chink in the armor. "I never attempted to make you believe anything."

"Well what can i say? I'm the pub type." said Ignis and extended her hand forward, shooting a flak screen between them. The tiny fireballs created a lot of smoke, making it impossible to see further than a meter. "And yeah, it hurts to hear the truth." she said and then with absolute silence changed her position. she then crouched waiting if the demon passes by withing the visible area.

Targus starred at the wall but couldn't think of how to get passed it. "Well Sid, looks like we're gonna have to....gonna....Sid hit the wall." Sid gave him a weird look. "And risk getting burned? there's no way im gonna." "If you don't, then we have to go take on the main force." Targus said pointing to the huge army below. Sid gulped. "Okay." He walked up to the wall, took a deep breath and smashed it with all his might. With one hit the wall turned into a solid wall of ice,which was then melted by the fire. "Now THIS is where you might get burned, we're gonna jump through that." Sid's jaw dropped. "How insane are WHAAA!" Before he could finish Targus grabbed him and the two jumped through the wall. "Try again." Targus laughed to Jack and Lulu.

[Morty]

Jack sighed in exasperation. "Those idiots. Would they really rather face a whole batallion than us?" he shook his head incredulously. Lulu wasted no time wondering, however.
"Archers, fire on the halfling and the water elf." she called wearily, aloud and telepathically. The group of archers that had been assigned to watch the skies turned an unleashed a volley on the two lone rebels.
"Last chance, you can either face us or face us and them at the same time." she laughed, pursuing doggedly.

Targus and Sid easily deflected the arrows. "Um, can i just fight them one at a time?" Sid asked. Targus face palmed. "Okay time out." Targus said making a T with his hands, he turned to Sid. "Okay so here's what im thinking, we take them on all at once and get it over with." "So in other words get killed?" "Me no, you probably. Are you better in crowds or one on one?" Sid thought for a second. "One on one, im not fast enough to block a lot of attacks." Targus nodded. "Okay, so lets head back where we came and get them to follow. While chasing us ill slip off while you keep them following, ill head back and take out the squad with out them knowing got it?" Sid nodded. Targus turned back to the archers. "Um, it seems we left the stove on so we'll be right back." The two then turned and ran again.
