"What?" Tara barked, "Oh..." She softened up seeing it was Sarin who spoke to her. "Sorry, I could have chosen either to shout or to cause a major thaw. The first one seemed like better idea." She said sarcastically.

Thoron flinched when Luna asked about him responding nervously to her question, "Oh, me? My parents wanted me to be the new ruler, or emperor, of the dark and fire clans. They wanted me to unite them once and for all with my combined elements of fire and darkness they both entrusted with each other. They were crazy to believe in such fairy tales though, so I ignored them!" The giant turned his eyes away from the dragoness and continued, "They were also killed from trying to conduct strange magic on me that hasn't been seen on this world before, so what Scourge has told me." The engraved symbols on his right arm started to flare very lightly in a warm flame. He grew irritated talking about this seeing what has happened in his past is about to happen all over again now. It occurred to him though when he realized it. I was seven when a similar act of assault on the fire clan broke out. He thought deeply, wondering if he should worry about something before he laid his head down to sleep through the night. Thoron moved over to make room for Luna in the rock formation and eventually fell asleep.
Observation: He kept his watch when strange whistles blew trough the air signaling him of an ominous approach. He had one eye open as he slept.

"Of the two i'm sure." Sarin murmured. "You have to understand, Tara, we don't just make quick desissions without everyone understanding everything first, especially for things this big. Here, respect holds great sway and doing anything conerning the whole clan requires the whole clan, otherwise people lose respect and in turn faith and trust, and then the only connecting us is by element." She took a few more steps closer, though only a few. The heat of Tara's frustration was making the ice and snow glisten and Sarin had to be cautious. "Now, the cases have been made and a desission will be ready soon. In any case lets go make you a place to sleep for the night. Even if you got your answer right this second you couldn't go anywhere with this blizard." She then slipped past the fire dragoness and headed back in the direction of her igloo. (Ooc: time to make Tara her own temporary house so that everyone can sleep in their own temperature confort. Tara can make a fire in her igloo. that sound good?) "In favor of allying with the Dark Clan?" An elder called on the hour and each of the others tallied the clan members with raised wing in their heads. The elder spoke again, "In favor of allying with the Fire Clan?" Again, the tally was counted. The elders pulled back to check each others counts, then returned, "The vote is for Ice Clan to align with Fire Clan." There was discontent murmuring and some angry grumbling as the elder continued, "The War Concil will be decided in the morning. This meeting has ended, luck to you all."

"wow... that must of... sucked." luna said before they went to sleep, she gently touched his flank with the tip of her tail to show a little comfort. when thoron moved so she could squeeze in luna gladly accepted the spot and yawned widely and went to sleep but not before she sent out a low energy dome that was invisible but would let her know if something disrupted it and what it was.

"And look what that way of doing things did to us!" Tara gave a final growl, but knew better than to argue any more. She made her point. And then there were the guards... "Fine. I guess better late than never." she said and followed where the ice dragoness lead. Looking out, she saw the weather she spoke of and chilled instantly, so to speak. Whether she liked to or not she was staying. "Any thoughts on this? Or you aren't the type to bother with military matters?" she said, "Completely understandable, given your... condition." she said not to sound like she put military above others, while also making sure no one heard the last part.

Sarin huffed quietly at the question. "I would rather there not be a war or fighting. But i understand that with different ways of living is different opinions and so there will always be disagreements. Regardless of my condition i'll still help my clan in planning or the battlefield." The reached Sarin's den and continued on a few paces. "Might want to stand back." She warned, then solidified her stance on the open ground, squinting into the wind. Then the snow shivered and a series of thin pillars of ice grew up from the ground in a loose circle around her. As Sarin tilted her head in concentration she sunk into the bowl from where the ice was mostly being drawn from and the pillars started reaching for each other making her disappear. When it was complete some time later the result was a swirly dome with a tiny hole in the top. "Not the most beautiful thing in the world but at least you'll be able to make yourself warm without disturbing anyone." Sarin said in satisfaction as she came out. Before heading back to her own den she stopped to watch Tara. "Tara, you've impressed my mate with your determination and self control. Having spent some time and spoken with you myself hasn't given me reason to not give you my respect either. Just know that whichever way this goes you'll have our support." Sarin gave her a smile and turned back to her home.
A short while later a ice clan member came out of city and spoke quickly with the two remaining guards before hurrying back. Glacious yelled to Tara over the blizzard, "They've voted in your favor Feiry, tomorrow we prepare to ally with your clan." Then the both of them left too for their own shelters, there was no more need for their presence.
(Ooc: oops, i hope i wasn't making the ice clan too high and mighty ^-^')

OOC: Even if, what of it? IC: "More like everyone." Tara snickered. "And thank you, but outside of said planning, I won't have it. What I said about orphans goes for everyone. Keep yourself safe." she said, patting Sarin on a shoulder. Wishing her a good night, she slid into her temporary home. And heated it up. She wouldn't admit it, but she had about as much as she could take of this cold. Alpha is going to get his hide kicked for sending her here. When the guard came to tell her the news, she allowed herself a victorious half-smile. She summoned a ring of fire around her, diving into meditation, trying to contact her superiors, but she was having no luck. It was hard for her to spirit-seek someone when she was in a warm room and not at the brink of war, now it was just impossible. Abandoning it, she lied down to sleep and gather strength for quick flight home.

The sun was dead, and the sky was black as the large infernal demon investigated the gore that has plastered the ground red. Scourge noticed the noises he has been pursuing for awhile now was far in the forest and has been avoiding his presence when he started following. He stopped playing games when the beast was proving it's speed, so he full forced himself to catch up and pounced on the creature while it ran. When his heavy form erupted out of the dark shades and into the night sky, he came down on top of the surprised creature and stopped it dead in it's tracks by forking it's neck to the ground with his armored legs. The creature's head swooped down and crashed into the dirt along with the rest of it's draconic body. The demon king slowly stepped off and turned to face the recovering dragon as it painfully lifted it's gaze at him. "Don't you know not to jump on other's backs without permission?" the white dragon growled as he lifted his form to stand on his back two legs. Scourge inspected the dragon's body then responded, "Yes, of course! Especially when you're running from a being like myself strange one!?" The dragon blinked his eyes several times to clear them of the dirt lingering in the white surface around the red and blue irises when he asked angrily to the demon, "So, whats your point?" Scourge shrugged then started pacing left to right of the dragon's view. "Strange that you should leave a good mess back there without the slightest sign of caring! What was it?" he observed the dragon's body movements to be more defensive when he asked. "It was just a slight run-in with a monster I met in my travels. As you can see I took good care of it." said the white slender, crimson bellied dragon. "Indeed you have. And what did this thing look like to you?" asked Scourge seeing that the blood pool far behind him now had no evidence to tell what the body was. "Gross and infected with some kind of deformity in the way it walked. Could be a necromancer's dream! Too bad it didn't like fire." he responded once more, but this time curving his claws as if he was waiting for the demon to strike with that giant weapon laying on his shoulder.
Scourge waved the creature off feeling the tension rise in the young, alone, dragon and slowly walked to the fire fortress not caring if there was a hive nearby. He was sure the dragon would have told him if there was anyways. The dragon watched him walk off then soon after proceeded east without any more run-in with the demon. Scourge knew instantly who that young five year old dragon was and let him go because of it. On the trail back to the fiery plains, he thought to himself. What a strange world this is! Knowing that I just talked to what Thoron should have been without the Gauntlet of Armageddon. He laughed under his breath and proceeded south until the charred trees came before his path. He had a few hundred miles to go before he entered the volcanic clouds lingering in the distance. "He seems more calm then when I first met the reincarnate. Maybe the future for this one will be without the burdens of his parent's foolish dreams for they have no knowledge of the Saxtium element to danger their existence!" The demon concurred to himself, starting another full sprint and hastily made his way to fire clan territory. Good, they don't need to know anyways. He finished in his mind as trees became more dead with each mile he passes.

(ooc: ok, alliance made, now what? ) Sarin knocked on the entrance just before the sun reached it's peak, though you could hardly see it through the snow. A team of five other ice dragons acompanied her outside. "Tara, time to leave. The blizzard has lessened slightly. This is the soonest we can get you out of here before it thickens again. While our forces strengthen and prepare here, teams will be sent to aid your clan how they can. We're the first contingent."

"What?" Deka whirled, pacing furiously along the small ledge. "They were supposed to give us their support! The Ashers are their elemental opposites! They'd never work together!" She dragged her claws against the cliff face, the white scratches luminous in the moonlight. The northern outcasts' messenger shrugged, barely keeping the smirk in his eyes from touching his mouth. "Your clan's envoys were rather indiscreetly...aggressive in their negotiations." "And your gang was sitting around in their territory and making them nervous," she spat back. The smaller dragon looked unfazed. "You should be thankful that the clan's getting any warning at all. Many of us still don't feel too kindly towards those who turned their backs on us." It was true. They'd had no obligation. She bit back another remark about keeping the odds even so they could scavenge over even more bodies like the vultures they were. "How much time do we have?" she asked instead. "Less than a day's lead, I'd say. I left as soon as I knew for sure. I doubt their first contingent will be traveling all-out, but they're sure as hell not taking their time. Payment?" He stretched out a hand and clacked his claws expectantly. "How many dragons are there?" Deka didn't meet his eyes. "I don't know, a half-dozen? I only got a glimpse, and I was a little preoccupied trying to outpace them without being seen. Now—" His voice wavered slightly, self-assured façade slipping. Deka had taken a long stride towards him and now her bulk cornered him against the cliff face that cupped their ledge. Her bared fangs hung inches from his face. "How many exactly? I know you know." The messenger screwed his eyes shut, his claws curling in concentration. "Six ice dragons. And one that was probably fire. Last-minute negotiations?" he offered, opening one eye and giving a little smile. "There we go." Deka leaned back and ducked her head, plucking a thick golden necklace from around her scales with her smaller arms. "Will this be enough to make sure you get the message to the Catacombs?" She dropped it into his outstretched hand, the chain falling in a spiral in his palm. "I thought you were going to tell them yourself." She raised her brows, and the messenger flinched. "My question?" "It should be, so long as they don't chase me off right away. I'm not helping if they want to make me a pariah twice over." "Good. What's the contingent's likeliest route?" The messenger squinted up at the night sky. The faint glow of predawn had already started to dim the stars. "Along the Spine," he said, pointing up at the row of lights that formed the long constellation. From their capital, that would put them...somewhere near the Dead Lake's southern river, maybe. You'll never find seven dragons in an area that big, and even if you did, then what?" "That's for me to worry about," Deka growled, bunching her legs on the lip of the ledge. She swiveled her head. "...Thank you for your help. Ask for Talye when you get there. She will see that you are paid further." The dark dragon launched herself into the night, wings dropping open to carry her northwards. The clanless messenger snorted, shook his head and continued south.

Something rapidly ran out of the makeshift hut, nearly shoving Sarin aside as it took off. "Come on, let's go! Hurry!" Tara called out, using way more wing flaps to keep herself hovering than necessary, just to keep her blood circulating. She used up all of her power over night just to keep her igloo at bearable temperature. "Let's make a short detour to that lava pit the demon made, then we'll take the short way along the Spine." she suggested, wanting to use the pit to recharge her powers somewhat. She doubted the ice dragons would mind, as normally it would take quite some time for that much lava to cool down.

In the center of the cooling blue inferno, the abomination that Scourge was looking for stood upon a rock looking right at the ice dragons and Tara as they were making their decisions on landing. Velum'nier let out a strange mechanical roar for it was changed to something more less of flesh. "You-know-where-he-is." the thing growled as it swung out it's right many hands shooting bone like spurs out at the approaching dragons.
Warning: In the rumbling lava below a loud "crack" sounded over the heat and glowing white spears of bone flew past Tara the first time, but other spurs were closing in behind that first failed bombardment in a more spread-out attack.

"I see no problem with that." Sarin called back up, hiding her amusment. It didn't take much to figure out why Tara wanted to go to the lava pit; i must have been quite frigit last night. "Stay close though. The storm will surely build up again and we won't be able to help buffer it if you're too far off." She jumped up on top of the now half burried igloo and launched herself after the Dragoness. The others followed suit.

"AMBUSH!" Tara yelled as she turned on her back and headed down. She aimed herself for the lava pit, flying over it with her arms spread out. She absorbed some of the heat from it, causing a layer of rock to form from the cooled lava on the surface. Whatever was firing at them was now sealed, along with the heat that disturbed the otherwise cold land. "You-konw-where-he-is." she heard something say. "I don't know who, and even if I did, the answer is still NOT TELLING!" she said and shot a jet of flame at the thing.

"Scatter and surround!" Sarin ordered her team as she twisted into a dive. She landed in a controlled slide in the slush from where the lava had melted the snow and expelled a trickle of energy to bolster her natural chilling aura, freezing the slush once again. I doing so she made a more ideal battle ground for herself.
The others headed for scattered positions around the creature. Occassionally an ice beam would materialise through the snow directed at it but it was hard to tell how many of them hit their mark.
