"I don't know, but for their own sake they better don't remember anything." thought Fireheart. "Thanks. For what i'll do now i'm terribly sorry, but you forgot that buying information is not the only way to get them. Again, sorry." he said and concealed himself and Dinara. A second after he stared into Pyrhos' and Saratheen's eyes, swiping all memories of them. "To the left. Silently." he thought and hovered to the edge of the forest, where he clawed a small mark on the tree, marking his way. When they were far enough he dropped the cloak. "This was rather unpleasant but i think completely necessary."

"mmmh." Dinara looked at the dazed pair a last time before following. "Are you going to have to do that to everyone?"

"Only to important people. Because they were running from somebody with darker nature, i think this was in order and justified. We've had enough wars home and what we do here is trying to stop them forever, not to give information about us to other hostile parties." he said and went in the wind capital's direction. "This planet looks like a complete madness. Compared to what i've seen so far in my life. Bonds. I don't like the concept. Do you?"

"Point." Dinara said, acknowledging the facts. "Well I think it's kinda nice. You always have some one around. And even those guys, who seemed not to really trust any one, still had each other, and they are getting by. Though i guess it could have some draw backs. So are we going to look for a historian, or head for the library first when we get to this Capital?"

"Having someone around yes. Share a soul? That sounds like a prison to me. You CAN'T be alone even if you want to, unless you kill the other, which you'd never do because he would take half of your soul with him. Maybe it's me and my life in shadows aside from most people but it just feels wrong." he said. "Agreed on the plan, though sunken city sounds more like the water clan territory. We'll see. I am just really worried about the holograms. Every second elf in the capital might be little bit good at magic. We'll need to think of something better before we enter or use the night and sneak in, which is practically begging for trouble. Ideas? And why the heck are we walking?" he said and took off. Flying was much more comfortable.

Dinara shrugged before taking off after Fireheart, easily catching up. "Maybe one of us could go in while the other stays behind outside the city walls. The on inside says his rider is with the one outside and vise versa for the one outside. Though I guess another plan could be to grab a human and put a very mild hologram on him to make him look more elf-ish. I'm not to fond of that idea."

"Can't say i like it either but the first idea seems fine. Although we might be able to bribe some humans to act as human bonds. It would fit as total strangers to this place. The problem with it is that it draws attention on the other hand. IT may be bulletproof unlike magic but it certainly isn't common. So... Who's waiting? Or we take shifts?" he asked.

"You know what we're specifically looking for, you should be the one to go. I'm ok to wait. When we get there we'll choose a place for me to hang out till you get back out." Dinara said.

"I'd still like to come up with something that will allow us both to go. Libraries can be huge. Might be days till we find something. If both of us go it would cut the time in half. Like it or not we might need another guide. I have a thought. Maybe if we tell the truth they will think it's a really bad cover story and try to find the 'real' truth. Yes, it can get complicated, but this world doesn't seem aware of the others. If the artifacts containing that information were leveled, for example sunk to the bottom of the ocean, how would they know? Only one goup from dragon Essence has been on earth before us, Darkring and Kohta, and only one dragon from Earth has ever visited our world, unwillingly if i'm not mistaken. The point is, the truth might be the best cover story we can get." theoretized Fireheart as the city was closing in. "Better find cover until we decide what to do." he said and headed to the forest below.

"There it is. Wow... That's big." said Fireheart when he saw the walls. The fortifications were made out of white stone, with golden ornaments on the crenellations. Behind the walls, you could see high towers of the same material. The dominant was the tallest tower, with it's tip surrounded by white clouds. He pointed on it. "Any chance that a wizard lives there?" he sighed, seeing that holograms insie the city are probably not the best idea. "Let me know if there's trouble." he said in mind, waved his hand to set up a camp hologram and flown closer to the city. He landed when he found the road to the gate and followed it on foot. He passed through the gate undisrupted and found an elf who had seemingly nothing to do. He lowered his head on his level: "Excuse me, young sir, could you show me to the library?" he asked. The elf nodded, leading him all the way. When they were travelling through the market, he remembered how local money looks like, just in case, and average prices for various stuff. He entered the library, amazed by it's size, until he realized that on this world, public places are probably built with dragons in mind. He quickly found the history and geography section. After half an hour of browsing, he found some books about myths. It took another fifteen minutes to find a refference to Atlantis. It indeed was reffered to as sunken city, but what hit him to the eyes was a picture he was looking for - a portalgate similar to the one they used to get here. The problem was that the mythological Atlantis could lie in three places, but one of them was quite near the cross on the map in his dream. He quickly returned. "I think we got the portal gate. Now the only problems are to get it from the bottom of the ocean and to find the runes used to activate it. I think we should concern us with the first one primarily, as if we don't have the gate we don't need a symbol, and it is also our ride back home." he thought out loud. "Plus we get holiday near the sea. It looks like it will be quite hot these days." he winked.

"Ya well as i said earlier. I could take us both a ways down but there is only so far down before I'd need help." Dinara said, stretching out and getting up. "I'm sure it's get cooler in the water. Lead the way."

"I think this world is amazing!" said Fireheart happily as the light rings enveloped them and he teleported them right to the place. "There is that water clan that can control ice as well which makes you able to hide where you are from very easy and the sun here is so bright that i can recharge twice as fast so as long as noone sees us, we don't need to make a step to transport. I love it here already." he said smiling, looking around. They were on a nice sandy beach. The sun was high on the cloudless sky and a light breeze was blowing. He went to the sea which was alost still. He put his hand into the water and snickered. "Air is about 35 degrees, water 6 degrees lower. come on, i can't wait to see what lives under the surface here!" he called and leaped forward, prolonging his leap with his wings. Before he hit the water's surface, he put his wings tight to his body, diving underwater.

Dinara dived right in, skimming along the bottom so she was under Fireheart. Without looking up she created a air bubble of oxygen filtered from the water by her element around Fireheart's head and his "rider" as well as her own companion. She herself held her breath for now. Then she started to twirl and swam a loop around Fireheart. Flipping to swim on her back she grinned at him before turning right side up again. "Noise travels really far here under water so if you want might want to stick to talking mentally for anything only our ears should hear." She warned.

"Showoff!" Smiled Fireheart back at Dinara's performance. "Not everybody has fins you know." he said and then he heard what she said about the communication. "Good to know. hey! Over there! Look!" he said, pointing to forward-left. There was a huge, red and green coral reef surrounded by various kinds of fishes. He tried to move around a bit, because it was some 7 years since he was swimming last time. When he got the hold of it, he swam to the reef. He looked at it closely. The corals were covered with other water flora, one of which he never seen before. The something big moved there. "HOLY! Look at that!" he said, pointing and getting away from it. On a land something like that wouldn't scare him but the water was unfamiliar environment. "You know, on the First of the five colonies, there is an amphibious race that has a kingdom on the bottom of the ocean. They are the most adaptable living beings i have met. I wonder what else might we find here and on Atlantis, if we get there. That reminds me, maybe we can try just how deep we can get and think of something to ease it up."
