"Yes. and in case anything goes wrong i am sure it will be handy. It is nice to have a backup thay you know you can count on." Smiled Fireheart, who was starting to sweat from trying to get all of his energy into the summoning. Still, nothing happened, when few sparks went ariund his hand, which was sticking forward. Soon after, an image of bright yellow cheetah appeared over him. "Well hello." he said and pointed at the water's surface. It took few tries, but after theat, the water jsut went away from Fireheart's body, and he wasn't using any of his energy at all.

"Are we leaving now? Don't you want to rest first before going back in?" Dinara put the last stroke into the symbol.

"Not for the final one but i didn't do this in some... 13 years. I thought some practice might be helpful, but..." he said, jumped up, did a half barrel roll and landed on his back in the warm sand, "Yeah, you are right, this is good too." he said, with a smile all over his face, enjoying the heat. "I wonder what'S going on at home. I feel kinda bad about leaving in the time when every hand was needed in restoring the land. I can only make myself feel better because i think we're doing this for the greater good, but then again, there's pretty big chance we'll return empty handed, and a slimm one we won't return at all." he said, and there was his happiness. "I ain't gonna be homesick, I ain't gonna be homesick, I ain't gonna be homesick...."

"Please don't go reminding me of home. You'll make me homesick and that just won't do when we're trying to get somewhere else other then there." Dinara said with a sigh, slipping back into the water. She sunk down till only her eyes up were visible. Little bubbles popped at her nose as she blew air out through her nose.

Fireheart took a breath and opened his mouth, wanting to say that it's good to remember, but then he just kept his mouth up. Instead, he lied on his belly and looked around. The sun was setting and the atmosphere was coloured orange-red, and reflections were dancing at the small waves on the calm sea. He could feel a drop in temperature, but it was still quite hot on the beach, and the sand was heated as well. He closed his eyes and listened to the nature around. The sea, the birds in the treetops and the animals in the forest. Then he felt something different on his scales. He looked up.... "Woooow, that's huge!" he said as he was looking on the rising Moon. "Our's isn't half that big! Or at least it doesn't seem so, maybe our's is fartherm but still... impressive."

"The tides out by the ocean on this planet must be huge." Flipping onto her back Dinara watched the moon rise. "Feals nice."

[Nohiki]

"Yeah. I presume it's a high tide around now, as the trees are jsut about 1 meter higher than the surface now and it doesn't seem like the water ever reached there. Am i right?" he tried to guess, still watching. "Ours gotta be smaller. Also, it looks like there is actually most of the planet covered with water, at least from the maps we have. It is funny that the climate here isn't so harsh as at home. Home we have quite small island, and on one end you have a desert, on the other ice plains. Here you can travel huge distances in the same climate. The icy places are restricted only to very small space on the polar caps, actually, and only the southern one appear to have solid ground under it. No wonder they do not have anything like ice clan."

Dinara shrugged. "Well ice is just frozen water. Maybe that's why they never making another clan. Not to mention if all the water dragons knew how to make ice then how would they separate the two elements? Are we heading off right in the morning? or are we going to find out more about the continent?"

"And what would you like to do? So far i feel like i dragged you along just like a dead weight, and it feels really bad. Next day is yours." he smiled and laid down, shaking a little to make the sand under him fit his body, so it would be more comfortable. Not too long after that, he slept like a log.

Dinara thought it over for a bit then went to sleep. In the morning she caught some sea creatures and cooked half of them up while she waited for Fireheart to wake up.

Fireheart woke up because his nose told him that something smwlled good around him. He opened his eyes and saw Dinara near the fireplace. "Oood, Mooor... NIIINggg." he yawned, stood up and stretched a bit. "Whatever that is, it smells good."

"Mostly fish with some octopus thing." Dinara said over her shoulder. "Any way I've thought about what we should do and I think we should just try heading for the portal today. If it doesn't work then we'll have plenty of time to explore while we look for another way. If it does then we'll be closer to getting home. Besides, that pair were worried about something. Makes me think we shouldn't stick around." Taking a octopus leg she knawed on the squishy flesh, sitting up to let Fireheart at the rest of it.

"Are you perfectly sure everything in here is edible? I'd hate to suffer from food poisoning who knows how deep under the surface." he said, looking at the variety of sea food. "and what is tha.... Owwww! Gross!" he said when she took the octopus. "I can't eat something like that knowing what it is." he shrieked, as the image sent chills down his spine. He grabbed some regularly looking fish and quickly swallowed it, as he wasn't in the mood to enjoy food right now. "Good thinking with the locals being worried. The thing is... Were they scared of something evil or rather the police? Anyway, let's go then." he said and attempted to summon the spirit again. Now that he knew what to do, it was actually pretty easy. "And we're walking..." he said and jumped into the water. He created the hologram of the map he had. "We're about here." a red cross popped on it, "and the portal should be around here." he said and a red arrow pointed to another place. "Let's swimm there, then dive and search around."

Grinning at Fireheart Dinara slirped up her octopus, at a fish, then dumped the rest into the water. "Easy enough." That was when the air spirit she summoned yesterday came. It was in the form of a silvery butterfly. "Uhhh, now what Fire? You wanted this thing. Do we just drag in along till we need it?" It fluttered around in a zig zagging fashion and a furious wind whipped up. "Now offense, no offense." Dinara said hurriedly, waving her hands up. It seemed to grudgingly accept this and settled down, the wind slowed.

"Yep. When somebody summons this kind of spirit for the first time, new one is born for them. then they may leave or another one may come to you, but until it decides to do so, it's all yours." said Fireheart, "As for what now, just use it like you use element. The spirits basically give you the ability to manipulate it yourself, because they are born from nature, and are part of nature itself." he explained and as an example he made a bolt strike out of the blue sky using his energy spirit.

It took few minutes, but they got to the place where they were supposed to dive. "Stay close." he said and a forcefield enveloped them, repelling the water. They began to sink, the surface closing oer the energy bubble that surrounded them. Fireheart adjusted the light crossing from the water-air horizon, so they could see normally. After five minutes, their feet touched the dried sea floor. "Poor water plants. But they'll have to hold." he said, looking at some water plants that were suddenly on the air. He looked around. "Well it looks like it was quite exact." he said, pointing at something that looked like underwater hill, with ruins built on it in layers as the fround risen, and a huge round portal built on the top. "That's our ride. Let's find the symbols to operate it. Let's split up to cover more ground." he said and split the bubble.
